I carried out a few test screenings for my documetary film "Hola Mahalla: The Forgotten Festival". It was nerve wrecking but worth doing, I managed to get a mixture of ages and backgrounds. Each person gave a different insight and perspective. As well as receiving some really strong and positive feedback it allowed me to watch the documentary with fresh eyes and with an audience. It's always good to let projects breath, take stock and move forward. We will be previewing an abridged version of the documentary at the exhibition launch, on the 18 April at Kala Sangam, Bradford.
